clown loach spine problem

Don't even think of cutting the spines. Like I said, leave it alone.

Because that is not necessary. Give the clown loach time to have its spine fixed. Chopping it off is adding unnecessary stress.

Edit: I might add that clipping the spines will easily damage the tissue where they tuck in their spines leading to secondary infections so by clipping the spine, you are only trying to worsen the situation than let the situation sort itself. How do you avoid secondary infections? Don't clip the spines at all.

sorry to take so long to update....
i moved recently and havent had the internet.
interestingly enough, when i netted him out to move the tank he got caught in the net with his spine, i wrestled with it for like 2 minutes and it has been fine since.
