Clown Loach that play's dead. Normal?

That's my wifes setup! She wouldn't let me even offer an opinion about how the tank should look. She just said "This is my tank! You have your tank and this is mine so it's gonna look however I want it to look!" I was like Oooooook! I like the natural look myself, but she had this "idea" in her head about some grand mixture of blue and green and how awesome it would be. I've learned a long time ago to just shake my head and say "Yeah baby whatever you want, consider it done!" 
Well lately i have been thinking theres this bed thing where you can put your computer under it it like a bunker bed but there is no 2nd bed just room to put your stuff so if i do that i can fit a 200-300G tank
under the bed instead just a future plan are they hard to look after because i stoped asking about them when i heard they could reach up to 40cm
maybe i could fit the computer and the tank there then have a 2nd 55G-75G tank where my computer is
i think that is a good plan i will have my oscar firemouths as fm are so cool and then clown loaches also how much is a 200G tank or how much is a 300G tank?.
P.S i hope some of that made sense lol.

Mine don't do that often but It happens. The first thing I thought when I saw your post is that you need more! He/she is probably going crazy by him/herself...Get some buddies
My loaches use to do this all the time. Shows they are comfortable enough in the tank to rest. They don't feel threatened.
