even thou rays cant catch it to treat the tank might stress the rays out and hinder your water quality along the way.
if you dont have the room to Q. i wouldnt do it.

i have had motoro's with clowns and it seemed fine, however keeping them with black rays seem a bit risky not by experience but just a gut feeling. i don't know a ray of that value i think i would not want any thing in with them.

ive only had two cases of ich with my loaches
and both of them were from not quarintining the severum and flowerhorn when i first got them.
