clown loaches good price?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
ya they are or smaller!

umm do you think they will be ok in my 210 at that small?

i also have a ridiculous asian red tail catfish?
5"

Rethinking what I said earlier......

If you really want them Id probably get a 20 gal grow out tank for them. One thing Ive learned from my larger cichlids is, if it can fit in their mouth it will most likly end up there. Put em in a 20 and let them grow for a few months. At 3-4" they should be safe, just make sure there are tons of hiding spots.

If it's really 1/2 inches then I probably wouldn't buy them that small. They're very sensitive especially when that small. Also I get mine 3 for $10 at 1.5-2 inches. The 55 gallon would work as a grow out but they're also slow growers so it'll probably be a year or two before you can put them in with the cichlids and I probably wouldn't put them in with gars or rtc.

yes when big they can go with cichlids probly not a full grow gar but in a 55 they would do well for a year or two id get them to at least 6'' befor putting them with cichlids

I would say you could get away with 4" or more. I have eight ranging from 4-8" and they are with a jag, texas, Barracuda, etc.

And how many clown loaches will exactly fit in there? A 55 option is better.

really?

are they ok with cichlids and gars?
Which cichlids? If Rift Valley, no can do. Clown loaches needed a large tank and currents to replicate their environment. They also like to establish their own territories and any interference done as evident with cichlids will simply not make them happy.

well I decided not to get them because of what people said when they are that small

but thanks for the help and suggestions guys
