I am thinking of giving plants another shot, I have to go to a store in a couple of days anyway, so Ill grab bunch of easy care plants like Java Moss.

I am just wondering how would Clown Loaches react to this? Are they plant eaters? Also suggestions for other easy-to-care for plants are welcome..

Great Most Fish speices love planted aqurium, It's just that some fish like to tear them apart.

Your clown loaches will love the plants !

They never caused me any problems.

Howdy,

Cryptocorynen are great, they grow nicely, form dense vegetation and fish like to hide in them. They are just sensitive when transplanted or after big waterchanges after long intervals. They lose their leaves but rapidly grow new ones.

Great idea to give your fish some green to hide in

Plants and clown loaches couldn't be a more beautiful mix. I have 6 loaches in a 75g with which I am going for a dutch planted tank look. They stand out so well against the green and even begin to behave a bit differently by hugging the plants instead of the bottom. To start out try some larger plants in back and fill in the foreground with something that spreads easy like pygmy chain swords. The clowns will weave in, out, and above these when they get dense. Awesome.
