Clown Loaches in a Planted Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i got 6 clowns in my 55gallon and my big ones are uprooting it. but now the plants have rooted in more so they are fine

Clown loaches are also good for keeping down the snail population that you will get shortly after adding plants.

I have two clowns in my tank. They prefer meat instead of plants. Once in a great while they will nibble on my plants. The clowns make nice little round holes in the leaves. But my tank is now snail free.

I think plants not only add a place to hide and play, but also a more natural enviroment. Keeping you aquascape as close as you can to what life you would expect to see in the wild. Then you can sit and stare, be taken away to another world, after 'one of those days'
