Clown loaches not active

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Prazipro will not cause any issues with CL's if used as recommended on container - but it is primarily only effective at treating tapeworms, flatworms, and flukes. A good choice for initial treatment, but I always follow that up with a round of Metro soaked food, or NLS Hex Shield.

Don't know how many you have, but the larger the shoal the more social they tend to be, generally speaking. I've also noticed small dither fish like roseline barbs, filament barbs, rainbow fish, etc, can at times make them feel more comfortable and outgoing. Subdued lighting can help sometimes as well.
So update on the loaches I've grown my shoal from 8 to 16 and they are doing great... really active and eating like pigs! Thanks guys, will look into a powerhead tho

I've never used salt either. My Cl's had a small bout of ich, so I raised the temp to 86 for 2 weeks and everything cleared up with no future incidents.
