Clown loaches

Most algae wafers are just flattened sinking pellets with green dye.

You have any facts proving that? I find it hard to believe considering the smell and ingredients are completely different.

Every algae disk container that I've read has shrimp or fish meal as the first ingredient.

They're not really that similiar. 1 is carnivore pellets and 1 is algae wafers. Can you guess which is which?

The ingredient labels state highest percentage to lowest. The 1st ingredient could be 75% by whatever measure they use. The rest can all be different volumes, or all 2% apiece. When you look at nutritianal analysis it says MINIMUM content, not maximum. They could both be the same. I think nutritinally most fish foods are about the same, just different flavors added to make them taste good. Oh, and colors. Look at dog foods. They make them to attract people, not dogs. The most successful breeder I know just uses plain old Tetra.

My senegal and ornate shared 4 clown loaches. It helped them grow pretty well.
Oh wait, that's not the point of getting clown loaches...

Hey everyone! Thread revive with a new question. Do bala sharks help with algae control?? I read a couple of places that they do because they are omnivores. HELP please!

clown loaches are fine with bichirs if you know how big clown loaches get if cared for well
