I would rather have poeple with first hand / that have the clown trigger in there tank now or recent .....

1 how agressive do you think thay are ?

2 What do you have in the the tank with yours ?

3 please no one with out or never had to comment ! ?

Mine behaved. I had it with an Odonus Niger.

Space and feeding are big with triggers in general. I am keeping to together now, and although they are a little feisty, at the size they are at now, they have plenty of room, and get plenty of food. Neither of them show any signs of fighting ect.

thats what i expect with mine .. Rite now at his size (small) he cant be too rough on the bigger fish IE dog face , hippo tang-Large) fox face , tomato clown , cleaner wrass exc......

HOW FAST DO THE CLOWN TRIGGER , IN MINT WATER CONDITIONS- GROWTH RATE ?

if your water parameters are not the best Do not bother it will soon lose its luster and turn ugly,,needs lots of hard shells foods Good Luck

Everyone should have good h2o quality...my trigger (rectangulus, very close to clown [at least dentally]) Has been trimming down his teeth on LR...no issues so far with having his teeth be too big, and he is doing great.

My triggers have always grown fairly slow....they eat a wide variety of things, try to meet those needs, and feed several times a day in smaller amounts for best results.

mine (clown trigger) is prety mellow, his current tank mates are

asfur angel, red tooth trigger, sailfin tang, lunnar wrasse, tuxedo damsel, pair of tomato clowns (sailfin is the tank boss by far)

other fish that he has shared the tank with(now in another tank together) scat, purple tang, hippo tang, porcupine puffer and a porcupine puffer, when both puffers were smaller they would both eat off the same piece of table shrimp as the clown trigger wit no issues and the clown was about 7" then

in yet a 3rd tank his last fish that i have not listed that lived peacefully with the clown trigger was a yellow tang and a pair of gs maroon clown fish

Clown triggers are my favorite marine fish. Keep it fed properly and it'll reduce it's aggression. Mine was not aggressive towards it's tank mates; pink tail trigger, humuhumu trigger, red sea sailfin tang, clown tang, asfur angel, flame angel, flame hawkfish, maroon clown, clown perculas, 4 line wrasse and watchman goby.

I cant believe that watchman goby didnt have the snot beaten out of him/eaten.

Same with keeping percs with maroons!

You are a lucky man. :D
