Looking for some info on how to set up a drain & trickle set up for my tanks so I can eliminate WC im tired of the mess I make when doing them also I have no clue when it comes to a W/D sump set up I have used canister filters forever but I bought a 500gal on CL and it was a saltwater set up when I went to pick it up the guy had the filter in pieces and I did not no where to start lucky for me there is a fish store by my house so I went in and showed one of the guys there a pic of the tank and all the pieces of the filter and he came over and hooked it up what I wasnt thinking about was how I could make it easier to do WC but now that it is set up and running how easy would it be to add a drain and trickle to it and also I wouldnt mind combining my other tank to 1 system but the other tank is a 300 gal glass tank that is being filtered with canister filters Eheim 2180 and 2x mag 350 that are 16yrs old sacked up and bought the eheim because of the built in heater and I dont want to have to drill holes in it or shut it down or move my wifes fish out I am trying to get it done by the end of this month because I will be gone for a month or so and my parent arent going to be able to do WC for me if any of you filter geniuses have any advice please try and keep it simple for me im not the sharpest tool in the shed.
