I thought this was a typo, but it is clycling in 3 different places... is this a new term I am not aware of?

BTW, 1... didn't really care for the method, but now I have an established tank so cycling other tanks is not necessary. Plenty of free bacteria present in my house.

i always throw a filter from an established tank along with some tank water. been doing that for a while now. will do the same on the new 110gal.

i never cycled a single tank,,

just did 25 to 50% water changes every day till the tank was cycled...

to be more accurate. i use fish and used filter media from existing tanks.
