I have been in the food industry for over 30 years, and lets just say that I very rarely actually eat out anymore because of the things i have seen.
One restaurant which was thought to be one of the best in regina, I worked at for a very short time did things like this
reused lemons from seafood plates for other peoples fingerbowls
reused left over garlic bread in peoples french onionsoup, croutons and veal cutlet breadings
suffice it to say when i actually found these things out first i felt real pukey then i ceased to be an employee there
from what i have studied we actually eat about 2 pounds of bugs in a year without really knowing it
