co2 questions

when i was running DIY, i was using 8 bottles but that was with 100 gallons and low light [under 200 watts of light].

6 bottles sounds about right to keep enough CO2 running.
If you can in the near future, save the pennies and setup pressurized CO2. It's only expensive up front

Do bells work? Trapping the co2 in a container? I have a smaller tank with only shrimp, I just set up a DIY co2 system but need a diffuser as well.
