Co2 starting to get frustrating

A glass diffuser like that is really to small to do a tank that size. Even using a powerhead. UNLESS you set it up in a internal tank reactor with a powerhead that has a impeller set up to atomize it and distribute. The other options are an inline reactor to your canister filter. Its my preferred method actually.

What are you using as a filter?

That sounds better than the one I got. I'm using a marineland c360 canister and an emperor 400 hob

use a inline diffuser if you want

I would HIGHLY recommend doing a reactor and plumb it inline with the output of your canister. Its what I do on my planted tanks. It uses less PSI of Co2 then an atomizer. Plus it wont make your water look like a tank of bubbly 7up. It basically disolves the CO2 much better. There are several designs out there. I personally have my own design I use so it keeps the flow output of the filter high but gives good contact time for the water and Co2 to mix. Having the Co2 dissolve and mix with the water is very important. Its what allows the plants to absorb it.

Let me know if I can help you pick one and get it put together.

Certainly. One of the easier ones to do is called a Cerges reactor. OR there is the Rex Griggs reactor.. Then I have my own design. If your looking for compact easy and a little higher flow rate id recommend the Cerges reactor.

If you do a cerges reactor and have questions ive built several for people and can help. Also if you have room do the 20 inch tall unit.

Here is another option that works well.

The griggs reactor works well but Ive seen reduced GPH flows out of it be higher then other methods.

Then I have my own multi chambered high flow unit. But they are a little larger.
