CO2 system help

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
sorry bout the pics.. i pulled it out just now to take pics. the top black tubing comes from the pump. the blue tubing comes from the co2 tank to the bubble counter, put a connection near the top of the pvc and attach the tube from the bubble counter. the bottom black tube is the exit back into the sump. the idea is that the flow from the pump pushes and forces the co2 down the pvc. the co2 slowy or naturally diffuses into the water in the pvc before its sent back to the tank. make sure to make the pvc long enough that the bubbles dont exit from the bottom. hope that helps...

Thanks for the pics and description of how your set up works. Do you think your set up will work with a DIY system? I am toying with the idea of doing one for my 56, 75, and 90 gallon setups. I want to go DIY at first to prove to my wife it will be worth the $$ to go with pressurized setups fo the planted tanks.
