Coal grunters, like so many of our Australian fish, have no idea about proportional temperament. Everything over here seems to have an attitude problem. Particularly the smaller terapontids like spangled perch, banded and coal grunter etc. Still, in a tank with enough other large, aggressive fish they might be forced to settle down or just give up trying to single anyone out.
