no way my barcoo grew to a foot long in less than a year and i didnt feed it frequently, also my sooty ive had for about a year next month and its 20cm long barcoo's grow way faster tho.
ive found that other grunters particularly silver perch and spangled perch grow really slow but not as slow as some other like golden perch, bass even my murray cod is growing pretty slowly atm
i think u mean native not grunters. bass are quick growers. also what do u feed urs and whats groth rate
bass? i havent got any atm but the ones ive had would hardly eat and ended up dead due to white spot and they'd be the only ones with it in the tank. but any id had for a couple of weeks didnt seem to grow at all. which was only like 2 bass never have any luck with them. id feed them bloodworms and brine shrimp (frozen).
