Hey guys,
Was lookin around at some LPS's today, and I found two coastal carpet's for $150 a piece, both were a little over two feet. Is this a good price? I ususlly see them around for $300, but I didn't know if I could find them cheaper at an expo because I've never really shopped for them. Thanks for any input.

want my opinion that's too high check around online like kingsnake.com/classifieds/pythons... I've seen them cheaper so look around unless you just have to have that one from the store...

No don't have to have one, just thought it was cheap for around here and wanted peoples opinions, thanks though.......

I buy my coastals at 125-150 each. From Mardy, a very good carpet breeder here in Canada. And thats for a baby Jag sib. So it depends what they look like for them to be 150 each.

I got one of my coastals for $60 and the other for $115. Probably not what would generally be considered high-quality breeding stock by most carpet breeders, but they're pretty snakes anyhow and I'm happy with them.

I'd stay away from pet stores though. I only buy snakes at reptile shows. You're less likely to get screwed with an over-priced, unhealthy snake.
