Wait...is hardscoping the same thing as quick scoping? If it is, it's really lame and takes absolutely no skill as a sniper. Playing off of the games auto aim isn't skillful at all and pretty much everybody can do it.
I find the abundance of noobs to be annoying especially when you are trying to play the map types that require some skill and strategy. Sure a grenade launcher is available in real life but it greatly detracts from the game to have them coming ALL the time as kids utilize the one man army perk to have limitless ammo.
I just wish they would put in a map type that allowed perhaps a more adult game play without the noob tubes. I miss the old Socom for how it did not have the noob tubes and one had to rely on team work to win.

Hardscoping is fine IMHO. A sniper should set up with a kill zone in front of him that he is scoped into. People complain because you can not get around a corner or such. Well that means that the sniper is doing his job.

When I am sniping my friends know that I will hold down a side of the map. I hardscope it and no one will come down that street or ally without me killing them or calling it out to my gunner who is normally around me to clean up my miss or protect me when the other team gets frustrated and attempts to rush me.
Though I also do not play death match and strategy is required for the game most of the time thus making hardscoping that much more valuable. If a sniper is holding down an area and hard scoping it then one must flank or use flash/smoke to counter his efforts. Again strategy.
It is the noob toobing and running around quick scoping that I do not buy into. Its also why I prefer to play with my friends on my team. If kids start to pull those actions we can normally counter it pretty darn well but I think it pulls from the realism you strive to get and detracts from the fun of the game to run around with grenade launchers and snipers as if they were assault rifles.

Clearly it will be good, but a $60 a pop the real question is who thinks the video game industry needs to go f themselves?
With the amount of entertainment I get out of my $60 video game I think it is one of the best purchases I can make. One can not even take the wife out to a dinner and movie for that much anymore. Heck a movie with the wife is easily $30 now so $60 for a game that will last me months is a GREAT purchase.
