Cod?

Hi,
Can you feed rays cod fish? The meat is fresh (and frozen), and if I cut them up into manageable pieces, could the rays eat it? I would if they couldn't for some reason.

Sweet, how about raw, shell on market shrimp?

get raw, but take the shell off. Rays stomachs will not dissolve the shells.... so when they poo.... it just stays in the tank.

yeah, I'm lucky with that sorta thing, theyre actually much cheaper than fish foods.

I am sure that rays in the wild do not peel shrimp, snails or other molluscs....why would shell on prawn not work, I t may even help?....

because in the wild.... there is no filtration for the shells to get stuck in and cause water quality issues

Ok, get the point now, it's a filtration issue and not nutritional.
