Andinoacara coeruleopunctatus spawned today in quarantine. I’ve got a pair of these in a 75 gallon display/ community that typically features young groups of growouts while they pair and spawn the first time. The male doesn’t get along with the female so she hides and didn’t get along with the other two in the group that I first got and reduced them. Leaving the two. I went ahead and grabbed another half dozen for outdoor cultivation and the first pair spawned while in quarantine in an outdoor 55 gallon glass tank where they can be observed before released into vats.
This tank has 6 Midas and 8 Coeru at the moment- talk about high pressure situation. This tank is outside and is in no way designed for display or photography but you can see the eggs in the tea cupand I’ll get a pair of these in a display for proper photography as well
