micros , aurantis and asiatica before i knew any better , and this is how i know that channa dont get along with them .
other fish i have had some sucsess with are tapilia butti , most types of birchers , a true pair of jag chichlids , several catfish , several plecos , and several of the big cichlids like blackbelts ect . ropefish , midas cichlids , most of the stuff i had sucsess with where other quite aggressive by nature fish , genrally things that will stand up for them selves , i would stay away from things that share the upper water and try mid swimming or bottom dwelling fish , problem is any thing is risky with a large jardini , so i would stick to thing that are not too expensive ,just in case . all jardinis are diferant mine was quite peacefull as far as jardini go but still hated snakeheads , i know some people who have had them and they have accepted no tankmates at all , so it is going to be try and see via an educated guess. also the more room the jardini has the calmer they seem to be , so you may stand far better chances when you upgrade , mine was in my 9ft.
my thought was jardinis are useally deamed only fit to live on there own , so i tried other fish tagged with this label ,like the butti ,and it seamed to work fine , in the end i only got rid of the jardini to provide more room for my snakehads which i am more into , otherwize i would still have him .
good luck with whatever you decide
