What type of stand is that? Is it hollow in the middle? If yes, then I would add a small piece of board underneath for insurance purpose. I should have some laying around if you need some.

When you get bored of that platinum senegal then send it my way. My platinum senegal looks very lonely and need company from another platinum senegal. Let me know if you have success growing it out because I had opposite effect when I put my platinum senegal in the 20gal.

not too keen on the parrot x (i think its the shape of them that puts me off) allough he does look to have a nice patern, but those are some nice very polys and nice set-up

Thanks! The sb's are about 3", and the plat is 9" It's growth has slowed since 8" (I got it around 5-6") but it'll put on those last couple inches soon enough

I've switched them over to mainly pellets over the past few months since they've high nutrition, but they still get raw shrimp, earthworms, and ghost shrimp once in a while.

How big are your SB's now bro? They seem to be growing like weeds! Can I see pics of your sen? Did you get it from Rich too?

yeah i got the short bodies from rich...his last few hahaha...they are aggressive feeders, more than my wolf hahaha...my biggest one is 3" on the dot and the smallest one is around 2"...some grows fast and some not so fast...

the plat is not as aggressive but close when it comes to feeding and it eats everything too...i sold one and kept the larger one...it gotten fat fast...not so much in length though...

i'll try to get some new pics...

It did not loose much weight. It started eating right away when I put it back in the big tank. If you're serious about buying this platinum then PM me before I change my mind. The longer I keep this fish the more I'm tempted to pick up another platinum and that goes against my fish budget plan.
