Recently I have had some very cool run ins with the most random people. First was my dentist last week. We started talking about our hobbys and I of course mentioned fish. Turns out he was into fish also and even took me to the back of his office to show me his tanks! His secretaries were all wondering why I was being brought "behind" the scenes LOL. Second was the other day I answered a craigslist ad to adopt a fish. After several emails I suggested she try out MFK. Turns out she is already a member here!

Same. My roommate had just been interested in small common plecos. Now he's got an oscar in growout and plans to get a 75 with the oscar and a large royal.

I hangout with my gang in front of this popular fish store in the City....We get buzzed on coffee, or Hennessey(which ever comes first)....Couple of times I will wear my MonsterKeeper rubber wristband....I go into the fish store to use the bathroom a lot.."Hey!! You on Monster Fish???I see your ruberband thingy.."LOTS of people come down to the City, hey it is San Francisco....You ever see some drunk Filipinos and Asians hanging around 6th Avenue, yell out, "MonsterKeeper!!!"

My LFS's are all into africans which sucks hardcore. I never meet anyone outside of a pet store and fish meetings that is into fish. Occasionally at school some fella will say "Yeah I had X fish but they got white dots and died".
