best treatment i found from a old receipe. rub dog jizzum on a pizza bread and apply to cold sore for 1 hour every other hour or as needed. see a doctor if symptoms persist and bring the pizza bread to him also.

Oddballer, the best otc treatment is Abreva. I get this question multiple times everyday while I'm at work.

i also heard using the blood of a smartass works well after you punched him in the nose........ know of any wes?

When the first "tingle" starts even before anything is visible is the time to start therapy. Stress, sun etc can bring them on so be aware under these circumstances. Hope that helps.
