sorry to hear! but you should care, in case your other rays are in danger from something other than the temperature drop.
 
Here's my theory.

There were internal parasites that likes to live in warmer waters, but due to the temp drop (the parasite, "thinking" the fish had ventured into colder territories that it is not accustomed to) it ventured out to find a new host. In the process of leaving its original host in a hurry, it ruptured some internal organs, which caused the bleeding. Thereby, killing its host.

like i said not **** i can do until the snow stops ado, you already know its ****ing nasty out here
