Obviously there's no such thing, but is there another fish that'll do the job? My koi will pull some algae up and than spit it out (presumably sucking the nutrients out first) but will anything eat it? Like a plecoObviously keeps a fish tank nearly spotless if done right. Is there something else that will do serious work on my outdoor pond?

American Flag Fish eats algae and is a cold water fish.

It's native to Florida, it can last in the ny winters? I have a 4 foot deep 2400 gallon pond. I'd need a hella lot of those to make a mark...

There are plenty of coldwater fish that eat algae, but none that will clean a surface of it the way a pleco does. Native snails are more effective. You have to be careful with snails, though, for a number of reasons.

It's better to control the algae by limiting its resources- aquatic plants compete for nutrients, and floating or floating-leaved plants (as well as trees and shrubs next to the pond) also shade out the algae. Barley straw works for short-term control. And there's always good old elbow grease.

closest thing i can think of is hillstream loaches but they are tough to keep, they need lots of current and very high O2 content
