Cold water pleco

Any of the "common" Pterygoplichthys species (pardalis, multiradiatus, disjunctivus, etc.) would probably survive the winters, but I can't guarantee that they would eat the algae (some do, some don't; just depends on the individual fish).

Perosnally I don't want to stock a tropical pleco in a coldwater pond in northern climates.
