I personally will never keep white clouds as they're not native, and non-native cool water fish are a waste of my tank space. I'd just do one big male central longear or some darters and shiners. If you want plants then stay clear of Flagfish.
my girlfriend has 3 in her betta tank that she rescued from a batch of feeders destined for my crappie/perch tank lol.
Im not too concerned with native vs non native...actually couldnt really care at all.
Paradise fish are something she likes gonna show her pics

Your call. I just hate tanks with mixed area fish, most of my tanks have fish exclusive to one body of water. Monster and catfish tanks are the only ones it doesn't bug me to mix fish. Oh and paradise fish aren't coldwater, just so you know.
But they are cooler watered fish compared to most tropicals...so temps below 70 are pretty cold to meall my tanks are mixed to some degree so im cool with it

Just didn't know what your ambient temp was, that's why I asked, my coldwater tanks get down into the high 50s to low 60s during the winter.
