coldwater catfish

Yup Channels are cool. Bullhead are probably a little prettier when they are grown, but both nice while young. and great for ponds
 
yellow, brown, and black catfish, white catfish.
 
yeah, any of the north american catfish you'll be fine. Not many cold water catfish are allowed due to the fact that they have a potential to survive and reproduce in the wild if released.

necrocanis brings up a good point. You should definitely check to make sure any cold water cat you're thinking of getting is legal where you are. Specially if you don't have any in the area you could just go catch...
