That would be amazing but I'd imagine the dissolved oxygen requirements would be extremely difficult to maintain for a fish like that. They are beasts though. I want to catch on someday.

We are monster fish keeper's I'm sure it can be done. Co2 for plans can't you do the same for O2 in some way. Goonch catfish get freakin huge with super gnarly teeth! I don't know if you consider it cold water like a sturgeon though, but they're cooler water species that like the temp in the 60s.

Lake trout get huge... I know they are NA natives though. I have no idea why no one keeps Amur pike. They are awesome.
