does anyone know anything about the arizona collared lizards?

Warning- They will eat other lizards if they can fit them in their mouths.

I wouldn't keep them with anything. They like to eat other lizards and adults can be quite aggressive, we did have a mated pair living together at work though.

so should the tank have sand or burrowing mud and i was thinking of keeping some sandstone rocks in the tank for basking i was also thinking of putting a small cactus in the tank but wat should i do for water and wat for food, crickets, superworms, pinkys?

I would use sand or some other dry substrate to prevent any skin problems. Even in the cooler moister places that they live they usually choose the drier glades as a microhabitat. The decorations are probably okay, just be aware these guys are crash and go sprinters so if they are damaging themselves you may need to thin the cactus or tank design to provide visual barriers to the glass.
