collared lizards?

I like to use make several thermal micro-climates within the enclosures. Such as areas with basking sites with with higher temps (mid 90's) to cooler areas (70's). This allows the animals to thermoregulate adding a level of enrichment to the enclosure as well, not to mention these guys are much better at caring for themselves than we can ever hope to do. If the cage is large enough and there is enough thermal gradients, I will even extend out those max/min levels.

We have three of them. A male/female pair of juvi's in their own tank and an adult female in her own. When the juvi's get large enough we plan on trying to put them together with the large female.

Sand substrate with one area in the 70s and one in the 90's is perfect like RMorrow stated. They seem to like to have thing to climb on and a cave to sleep in.

We feed ours mainly crickets, their favorite, but they will also eat worms.
