Where are some good places in the northern nj/ eastern pa area where you can collect your own fish(bass, sunfish, bluegill, etc.)

Have you checked to make sure it's legal there?

Yeah

water is usually a good place to start.... lol

depends on what size you want to catch them etc, if you're looking for babies it will be better different times of he year, most ponds and smaller lakes it is easy enough to spot the small fish around the edge and they're easy to catch with a fine mesh net

I heard pemberton lake is good for like 3-4" sunfish

And I want to catch them at 3"-4". Maybe 5"

3-5" size i'd imagine any public waters around there should be fine, red worms on small hooks for the bream and sometimes small bass will hit em but if u want little bass buy some "creme" worms at walmart that have the little spinner on them with a 2 hook rig

I Pm'ed u where I'm at before about something. Anyways I'm in northern nj and I can get you however many bluegill/sunfish you need at that size. My moms boyfriend just caught 6 little 2"-5" ones actually. Ill give em to you if u want. But I'm not sure how much they sell for..... I'll see what I can find on them. Pm me a price offer on what they are worth. I'm not really sure of cost.

why the hell would they pay for something they can go catch virtually for free almost anywhere

Ok, I'm gonna try lake hopactong in a few months when the weather is nicer.
