I don't know if anyone else follows this stuff but I really like following the college football season about as much as the NFL. Games are more exciting, crowds are way more into it, plus everyone gets pissed about the rankings and I love getting pissed.

Lets all get pissed together please?

So here is my top 8

1: Bosie (Undefeated so far, undefeated last year)
2: Oregon (undefeated in tough Pac-10, blowing everyone out)
3: TCU (undefeated, second best defense nationally)
4: Oklahoma (undefeated, but play Nebraska)
5: Nebraska (undefeated, but play Oklahoma)
6: Ohio State (undefeated, will loose to Wisconsin)
7: LSU (undefeated, not dominant but wins count)
8: Utah (undefeated, looked great this week, have to play TCU though)

Boise ST should not be ranked that high until they play some real teams. Yea they beat VT but VT turned around and loss to James Madison. I am really pissed about that.

The only thing that pisses me off about the rankings is when this happens:

#8 Alabama 5-1
#9 LSU
# 10 South Carolina 4-1

South Carolina just beat Alabama but is still ranked below them. I know Alabama was previously #1 and South Carolina was #19, but this makes ZERO sence. This is the AP poll, so we'll have to see what they rankings are when the BCS poll comes out.

eh i go to UNLV and our football team is semi retarded. i think they are 1-4? iono dont follow them or try to go to the games.

but anyone see the Texas tech v Baylor game? how about that onside kick lmao

True Bosie has not played a lot of great teams but they have beat every team they have played for the last two years. Plus they blow everyone out. They beat a ranked VT team that could easily end up with just the two losses and be ranked at the end of the year. They beat a good Oregon state team that was ranked when they played and is ranked now. They still play Nevada who is ranked as well. That's 3 ranked teams.

MI sate is a good team as well and it is a shame they will not play Ohio State this year, how did that happen?

not sure, but that would be a great game to see this season

I don't want to start an argument but Boise St and TCU play a whole bunch of nobodies. Pick an SEC team (even Vandie) and they'd go undefeated against the same competition too. creampuff conference.

Oregon's playing very well, Ohio St. is playing well. Alabama was playing well...

We can argue this ad nauseum until they institute a real playoff system.

yeah they beat alabama at home after a bye week after Bama had played Penn state, Florida, Arkansas...all top 25 caliber teams. I'm not saying they didn't get out played, but who else has a schedule like this? Not to mention for the next 5 games everybody has a bye week the week before they play us. Do you know how impossible it is to go undefeated in the SEC for 19 games, (29 regular season games) and then play nothing but top 25 and top 10 teams all who have an extra week to watch video and lick their wounds? They were setup for failure from the beginning. It doesn't matter though. Bama is still a contender for the title, and we'll whip Spurrier's pesky poultry in Atlanta next time around.

That's the great thing about college football. On any given day it's anybody's game. Does that really mean SC is a better team than Bama? Or that they had a better day of football?
RTR!

I'm biased but it still makes absolutely no sense to not put OSU at #1. They were number two and played a good game against Indiana. Why would anyone jump them? Oregon deserves to be #2 and Boise always does well and people say the same thing every year. Maybe they should do something about it?
