How many times have I heard…” we didn’t take them seriously and didn’t show up, that’s why we lost”. Watching that game… The Crimson Tide was out-coached, out-played and just destroyed. The final score should have been 31-10. That last TD was giving to them to just end the game. Enough with this “easy schedule” and can’t compete week in, week out. Did they or did they not DESTROY YOUR TEAM? Alright then… moving on.

Last year Florida and Cincinnati should have played either TCU or Boise. Cincinnati for sure would have been destroyed and the Florida game would have been very good game. Of course that could not happen.

Boise St., TCU, and Utah didn't just do this over night. It has taken them long time to get to this position in the poll this early. Give them some credit where it's do.

This year is different and the “Big Boys” will get punk’d on this year.

I just think it's funny that the glory days of your team, and their all time crowning achievement, is beating my "overrated" team one time, in one game.

Did we or did we not win the national championship the next year? It was our 13th national championship to be exact. How many national championships does Utah have?

Well we destroyed Florida last year and this year. I guess we would have DESTROYED boise st too huh? Woulda shoulda coulda. See that's the thing about the SEC. There's no conjecture about who could beat who because the best teams in the nation are actually playing each other not just talking about how awesome they are. And as we saw the other night, sometimes, when two good teams play, a good team loses, but that's not how it is out in the powder puff conferences where good teams pick on what's basically a really good high school team.

My teams are OK state Cowboys and whoever is playing the usc (notice no caps) Trojenz.

This year, the BCS busters will bust the BCS by having a NON AQ-TEAM play for it all. You and your bias for Bama and the SEC is why there is no playoff even though you say I want a playoff. Your bias has blinded you from good football being played by other leagues and schools. It must pain you to know that no SEC is going to play for it all this year and if there is one, it will be with a NON AQ-TEAM. I could careless if your team has 1300 national championships. I just want to watch good football games and each team being able to play for “it all” at the end of the season IF THEY DESERVE and this season A LOT of other teams besides the SEC deserves a chance at it all.

And if you want to bring up “glory days” you won last year I give you that. but this year is this year and your team Bama isn't in the conversion any more. But Boise, TCU and Utah are. So yes, I am living in the glory of now being still in the talk for the dance. You are in the talk for the Sugar Bowl and that is only if you win out.

I find that difficult to believe. SC has one loss against a team that was ranked comparably to SC but Bama beat several teams ranked higher than any other teams SC has played this year so does that mean SC is #1 and Bama is #2? I'm not saying I agree with the way the current ranking system works, but given what we have i don't necessarily think their record proves their a better team.

Given that logic, TCU and Boise St. shouldn't even be ranked at all because they haven't beat a ranked team this season.

You can rank Alabama where ever you want but it doesn't change the fact that SC was better than Bama this week. Is SC a better team, yes, they proved it on Sat. It doesn't mean that at the end of the season they will be.

well I hate to be the one to break it to you, but a one loss SEC team could still be picked over a non AQ conference, and rightly so...

Take boise st, tcu, or utah and give them the same schedule as bama and they would never have made it to 5-0.

I agree other teams deserve a chance for it all but only if they play against the same caliber opponents as other conferences. You can't really say your a national champion if the toughest team you played was Oregon state and your bias is leading you astray if you think otherwise.

boise state, tcu, and utah will never play in the championship over a 1 loss SEC, some one loss big 12, and some pac 10. they just dont play play teams of the same level. the WAC and MWC are just filler conferences so there arn't 20 team conferences.

Exactly, a one loss Bama WILL play in the national championship game, no ifs ands or buts.

Boise St, TCU or Utah could NOT do the schedule bama has done its TOUGH...

Why doesn't Bama or Buckeyes play home/home against TCU or BSU in their OOC schedule? Cuz they want to play cupcakes to inflate their records and rankings. Their excuses is everything to lose but nothing to gain, but at the same time whining about BCS busters soft schedule.

BTW, San Jose State had the toughest schedule per Sagarin. They played,
#1 Bama
#11 Badgers
#13 Utes
#21 Nevada
and playing #3 Boise St.

Bama ranked 27 in scheduling as of now.

im sure that if boise state wanted to play the big time schools they would not say no. thats cool that san jose state plays those teams but will they beat them? highly doubt it.
