Agree 100% on playoff

Lot's of teams won't play Boise, not much to gain by that game...OSU schedules big home and home already, with Texas, USC, Miami Fla, ... not to mention Nebraska coming to big ten next year

Alabama get's screwed this year if I heard right...they already have a sick schedule, and I heard each of the rest of their games are against teams coming off the bye week like SC was.... Now I'm a huge Ohio State fan, but that just isn't right

Worried about OSU in Wisconsin this weekend in the night game...tough place to play against a good team, but if they survive that I think they will run the table.

GO BUCKS!!!

and why not ... go Spartans, nothing will get us a playoff system faster then an all big ten national championship game, the SEC, Pac 10, Big 12 fans..etc. would lose their mind!!!

best Bosie team vs you pick an SEC team and I believe it would be a close game, and that Boise would probably be favored to win against most.

...but then the next week, and the week after that, and kellen moore gets banged up, and the week after that, and the week after that, and pretty soon to rest your "starters" your playing guys who barely made it into division 1 football.

Guys that would start at other programs ride the pine at teams like AL and FL. We're 3 strings back in athletes that could beat most other teams and that will have a good shot at the NFL. That's the SEC difference and that's why it's incredibly difficult to go undefeated. Not to mention the best coaches in the land are coaching in the SEC.

Again how many top ten teams have the weenie leagues played this year? there are like 5 or 6 in the sec...

The PAC 10 has some great teams but the difference between the best and the worst is a pretty big gap. Not to mention you guys don't have a conference championship to survive. Bama very well may meet SC again in Atlanta. That's something PAC 10 teams don't have to worry about.

Don't kid yourself. You wouldn't not, not if Auburn or LSU run the table and wins the conference, or if OSU or Oregon run the table. You will go back to your weak conference argument that San Jose State is a fluke. Besides, SJS will never catch up to the current ranking hierarchy, and their conference schedule will allow them to be jumped by any other undefeated BCS team.

Not picking on SEC but If SEC is so much superior how do you explain Jacksonville State over Ole miss?

You forgot to taken account that if Boise is in the SEC they will have a deep roster like the rest of SEC schools because they are in the SEC thus will have the same recruiting talents.

thank you for touching up on my point. The point was if they were in a power conference with the record they've had over the last 4 years (we can all agree that's not a fluke right), they'd have better recruiting and be deeper if they were in a power conference?

my main point is place yourself on THAT boise team and tell me how it's fair for you? it's easy to say but they're not in the SEC when you don't place yourself in their shoes but if you dominate ALL competition the way they have and teams refuse to play you, you deserve to be rewarded. The SEC and the power conferences know it helps their cause to refuse to play them because then they can continue to say they can't hang with us and play in a weak conference. it's the exact reason they avoid it.

long time since a post in this thread

...AND BOISE STATE (and Oregen) GET SCREWED AGAIN

agreed. auburn does not deserve the number one spot. it should be oregon.

as much as oregon annoys me, i'd have to agree with that, AT THIS POINT. but i'm thinking that if michigan state wins in iowa and oregon loses at usc, msu new number 1? or at least new number 2

Auburn rocks! They always find a way to win.:mwave:

We will find out the day after Thanksgiving! :headbang2

It will be an epic Iron Bowl if Bama doesnt drop a another game and AU continues to win. Im glad the game is in T-town this year that is for sure!!

with the way things are going, BSU and TCU will be the only undefeated teams, anyway.

michigan state has a very good chance also... the toughest game that they're going to have is iowa, who lost to wisconsin while they were at home, and michigan state beat wisconsin. michigan state should have a very good chance at beating iowa, and the only other semi-challenging game will be away at un-ranked penn state
