Just out of curiosity anyone here in college and still keeping fish? Rather you live on campus or off campus. I'm broke from tuition and books, but I still can't spending money on fish.

This guy... NC State University, I live off campus in an apartment and have a 10 gallon and 45 gallon tank - still looking for a job hoping something opens up towards christmas cuz right now no luck haha

I actually am a father a 15 mo old daughter, another due in March. I also have a full time 40+hr a wk job, work part time on the weekends and I have a 90, 150, setting up a 180 and getting a 55. I also attend a college half time and go year round!

i live on campus and i have 4 tanks back home a 125, 72, 25 and a 10. i try to go home once a month to clean them up, but usually i have my brother doing my wcs

I live off campus and have 6 tanks in my apartment. I don't spend all that much money since I don't keep any expensive fish. My most expensive fish were my pictus at $8 a piece.

My GF spent more money on her Africans than I did on all my fish combined.

I am! I got to sam houston state university in huntsville tx but live in college station tx, and I make the commute every week. I have 18 hours this semester and I work 20 hours a week. I have a 240 gallon long, and 46 gallon bow front that is a grow out tank and a 1 gallon betta tank. I have a few more tanks in the garage but cant afford the space, money or time to set them up. I like in a 2 bedroom townhouse. and yes I am broke from my habit! My Saturdays or Sundays consist of cleaning my tanks haha. It takes me about 4-6 hours to clean them and service the filters every weekend.

I go to school full-time...will have my degree in December.

Also work full-time. Also coach basketball and track at a local high school.

On top of that, I have 4 tanks going now:

125 gallon (tons of black calvus and 20 cyprichromis leptosoma utintas)
90 gallon (8 mpwimbwe frontosa)
56 gallon (10 paracyprichromis nigrippinis, 10 tropheus red ndole, 10 tropheus ikola yellow)
29 gallon (cyprichromis fry)
