Just recieved a CONDITIONAL offer to do Applied Marine Biology at Heriot-watt University, Scotland. Also got an UNCONDITIONAL offer to do Marine Science at The Scottish Association for Marine Science.

So happy right now it's what I've always wanted to do!!

Major: Environmental Studies

As far as MFK-applicable courses go, I've taken courses such as Herpetology (Spring 2010) and Ichthyology (Fall 2010), and I anticipate taking plenty more courses such as Coastal Marine Studies (Spring 2011), Scuba Diving (Spring 2011), Invertebrate Zoology (Fall 2011), Advanced Ichthyology (Fall 2011), and Marine Biology (Fall 2011).

Did I mention that I'm trying to structure my courses in areas that apply to fish while still fulfilling my major requirements?

If we are listing related classes, I have some fun ones. I took Mamal Culture, Aviculture, Aquaculture, and Herpeculture at the Santa Fe Zoo program. I also am taking wildlife management and the Florida Master Naturalist Program (which is made of 3-5 courses). Lots of fun stuff. It just stinks that I also have advanced chem, math, microbiology, and history classes that I have to take. I am a junior now but my degree will likely take 5 years to finish and after that, I am going to continue into graduate work.
