I've been feeding Hikari Sinking Carnivore since my little Orinos were 1 inch babies, was feeding them 1/4 chunks, but now there large enough to handle the whole pellet, but still not large enough for Massivore.

I was thinking of switching to Massivore 1/4 chunks when I finish my supply of sinking carnivore.

Anyone that has Massivore, can you tell me the percent of protein it has? The sinking carnivore has crude protein min. 47% and crude Fat min. 5.0%

I find it' to be a combo of feed and water quality...

btw how are the colors with the sinking carnivore? from what i understood it's like a mini massivore but was developed for faster growth and last I used it on cichla, it gave nice deep green colors

no way, really? Remind me how? I see you have some nice wild kelberi with a bahia in the same tank, how cool is that!!

I/we still have the Azuls you brought in back in 08, the true blue azuls from Sao Fran. The bahia's are from the first batch you brought in and I'm sure we have a couple of other floating around here that we got from you.

As for my lighting, I'm using marine land LED's and a Duel coral life color max T5 light.

I think lighting spectrum has an effect on the colors of the fish. I have tried using 5500 bulb vs 10000 bulb. I noticed all my fish looked best in 10000 spectrum. If the fish is not stress I noticed the colors pop out more. Aside from that all bass should be feed a high quality cichlid pellets.

Dave and I were middlemen lol. Can you believe that his friend drove from Utah to pick them up? Sounds like a fish nut like you, doesn't it? Lol
