There was a noticable change after i started using pellets with natural color enchancers
Andri Pogo;3845613; said:i never said they only get better colors by getting color enhancers (krill in my case, from NewLifeSpectrum pellets) and it would be naive to think that the they would get good colors in a all white tank, pellets or not, since they show their best colors with a dark substrate.
You were suggesting that it does nothing to help the polypterus, which I simply dont aggree on. I have had my polypterus for months and some for years, always with a dark substrate with the same dark background and at the same timepoint, shortly after i started trying the NLS pellets most of them got much greener; palmas palmas, palmas polli, retropinnis, ornatipinnis, senegalus, lapradei, ropefish, delhezi,

GarNiac;3844530; said:no matter what food you give to your bichirs, they will still maintained their color, it genetics, and the color will only chance depending on the environment and the amount of light in the tank.
