The string algae could be scrapped off the walls if it bothers you. I would leave it, but it's your tank. Throw it in the goldfish tank if you want.

Green water is a result of all the fish you just recently added. The bio needs to grow and adjust to the new fish load. A few small water changes could help, but time is the best cure. The green water should improve the over all coloring of the goldfish.

thanks alot the green water problem has since been resolved (by covering the tank 24/7) i have beentrying to ask anyone if they knew or thought that the sunlight would be beneficial and if the "green water" is good or bad as all i have to do is leave the tank uncovered for 2-3 days and the water is fully green so wat do ya think
