What do you use as filter media (approximate amounts - you have ~9L capacity)?

i us what it came with its a new filter i got it for my birthday. on the 30th

If you got the ammonia down now, I would keep feeding pellets its really healthy for them, and will help the colors pop. Also you can try feeding shrimp, try giving it to them with the shell still on. The shell will help bring out the red in the piranhas
