colorful schooling fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I picked up some green tigers, regular tigers, and some rubies. I wanted odessas, but they were in the sick tank sooo. Maybe next time. Hopefully the Aros dont make lunch of them lol. I will get some pics up in a little while.

i have a shoal of 15 colombian red fin tetras with my 4 veija, severums and dollars. really nice fish. pick up the food scraps the rest leaves

keeping a pack of small schooling fish like neons with the jar will just end up food. if you do go with neon tetra's i would recommend the cardinals way nicer than the neons. and as someone said before...congo tetra's are nice! and big enough that the jar cant eat it. i have a pack of 20 congo tetras in my grow out pond outside.

x2 on the Columbian Tetras (Hyphessobrycon Colombianus) I keep a school; of 8 and prefer these over most other tetra species, you can also try the Buenos Aires tetra (Hyphessobrycon Anisitsi) I have kept those as well, both are larger and quite colorful.

IMO any species you get will only become an expensive feeder with a jardini arowana from my research although, I have never owned an arowana. So take my opinion as just that, my opinion. ;)

Are you putting them in with the stock in your sig?
If so I dono whats gonna survive in there.
BTW im now a big fan of tiger barbs if you like those..crazy active, can swim in a real tight pack, and quick enough to not get eaten...right away at least

That's what I was gonna say. Tiger barbs are the way I'd go.
