The sevrums will be a great addition.

Schooling tetra, I think you'll be wasting your time.
No level of the tank is safe from Ray interest and they will prowl all over the tank especially at night.

I would consider mature specimens of silver/red hook/tiger dollars, they often do great with rays but you can never really trust a predator 100%

Thats nice to hear, I have about a dozen different Viejas and Amphs growing out to go in with mine.
How large are they and how long they been together?

About a foot long and very thick. Your normal adult big and bulky americans. Been together for 2-3 yrs now and still good companions with my rays. Also i only put male on the tank as when theres a female, they seem to be very territorial and causing havoc on the tank.

Males is all I purchased also. No breeding aggression!
