I expect to see my Tiger Oscar getting more red patterns on his body when he grows bigger. When he was a baby, he looks more red than what he is now. It's kinda weird that it goes the other way around.

Since you are new to oscars kindly understand that Oscars are extremely messy fish that require heavy filtration (or less fish than a filter could normally support). Frequent water changes are in order as well. Chill on the feeders (make it a monthly treat maybe) and feed Hikari Gold. Crickets may be fed more leisurely. And I don't need to tell you to have fun.
