Columbian Leopard Pleco... Aggressive??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I bought a that same pleco a couple of weeks ago i put it in a 29 gal with 2 clown pleco's and the clown's killed the leopard pleco. They where all just over 2" i was surprised the clown's did that because they seem shy and hide alot the leopard seemed like it was out and about and just a more robust pleco than the clown's but maybe the clown's tag teamed him. I saw what i thought to be injury's from aggresion on the body and he looked faded so i guess the clown's sucked off the slime coat i wish my leopard was meaner he would still be alive.

Looks more like a young L083 to me. He is lacking the red in the dorsal that is often present with the L164, as well as his spots fill most of the space with only the thin lines seperating them.

was going on the head really. got a shot from a better angle. it doesnt look quite right to me, none of my glyptoperichthys gibbiceps have ever looked like that. how big is it?
