Columbian Shark Catfish

I just bought a Columbian Shark Catfish, he's pretty much being rescued from the horrors of Petland Discount. He'll think me some day

The only problem I am having thus far is that my Figure 8 puffer is not taking his arrival too well. He's like chasing him around and pecking at him.....

Is this a common issue with Columbian Sharks, I figured they would man up and stand their ground.

Yeah i was kind of hoping that wouldnt happen though....Im feeding them well, but its just that one puffer that chases him all over the tank and its getting annoying. Anyone got any suggestions to pacify the young puffers aggression?

columbian sharks are pretty meek and mild.. and though you saved it i think the puffer has other ideas... too bad though because it would have been a good home ...depending on how big your tank is i think the only thing that would help is a divider between them.. because the puffer will make it so stressed.. i have these sharks are they are awesome.

Yeah its a 75 Gallon tank..... I gotta figure out something.....This Figure 8 Puffer is become a PITA

Yeah I give till tomorrow morning to find the Columbian Shark Catfish dead and eaten by the Figure 8 Puffers. They are tag teaming on him and they chase him around and peck at him.

Its sad because I like the Figure 8 Puffers, but Im not sure whether I can buy more fish later on anymore, because I am just not sure how they will react if I bring home a little Bumble bee Goby or a Knight Goby one day...

They are about to kill a Columbian Shark Catfish which is a predator itself, I cant imagine putting some docile fish in there....They'll just end up being expensive meals for them......

But then again if I decide to buy a Bigger Columbian Shark Catfish, when it gets older it'll probably eat the Figure 8's in the long run Karma.....

I am undecided....

Yeah theres a big pvc pipe in there and a that Skull ornament that he can run inside of and hide, but he just doesnt go in any place where there is cover and now he is like 80% dead... He's swimming upside down and they are pecking the living jesus out of him. There is nothing I can do....

My other tanks have not been cycled....and I dont plan on keeping other tanks running... I dont know about you, but utility bills in Queens NY are kind of high now in days....

So pretty much, thats the end of the Columbian Shark Catfish. When it comes to these Figure 8 Puffers, there is no telling who they like or dont like....
