Heres the picture of the little Demons:

it has evil written all over its face!

they are really nice.. love puffers too..just would not put them with any other fish... i hear that nothing is safe with them.. they can snap anytime.. but they are still beautiful..and still feel bad about the shark... advice is definitly have another little tank set up for when you need it asap...

Now I am really REALLY!!!!!! Pi**** off!!!!!!! Unbelieveable, first my Columbian Shark Catfish is killed by Figure 8 Puffers and today I come home and my Mono Argentus is dead........

I dont understand how he died.....The Puffers didnt mess with him....

I know the Mono Sebae wasn't too thrilled to see him and he would chase him around ....But is it possible for a Sebae to kill an Argentus??? Do Mono's get down like this???? Dont they love being in groups or something???

With Monos you either need to have 1 of them or 3 if you have 2 they will fight.

Yeah they started pestering them....The Figure 8 Puffers left me no choice......They had to go back to the LFS.


Im not gonna have a skeleton crew in a 75 gallon tank just because the Puffers feel like killing everything in their path.

As big as the Columbian Sharks get I have discovered that they are huge babys Sometime they even run from my Violet goby

I took the Puffers back, no more Puffers for me ever again.....Unless for some reason or another I decide to somehow create 30 gallon species tank, then I might reconsider Puffers, but for now its out of the question.

Heres the update so far, I took the 2 Cats home and I drip acclimated them in a bucket because they were coming from Freshwater to Brackish.

In they went after a while and they are doing good so far, they follow each other like best friends, i guess thats the schooling behavior they exhibit.

I got the 75 Gallon tank at like 1.006 SG.

I am trying to slowly bring it up to 1.010. But its proving quit difficult. I put like cups full of salt in the bucket to premix the water and when I put the hydrometer in the bucket it reads 1.029 SG after I put it in the water I test it again and the SG is still 1.006 SG.

Am I doing something wrong? How should I go abut raising it up at lease .001 SG?
