combination afro and silver?

There is nothing worse than an afro with another afro. Supposedly they can be together when they hit 18"+. I'll just have to wait and see. In terms of afro's peskiness towards other long bodied fish, there may be a possibility of aggression based off the observation of the two 15" afros I have.

thank you all for the posts! it's always great to hear other peoples experiences.
i think my silver aro will be the only one in his tank then, dont wanna risk it.
i was thinking of combining some relaxed fish like bichir's maybe a medium sized catfish. but then im done, if i add more fish i will make a second tank, i hate overcrowded tank where the fish cant live a relaxed and natural life.
